After working in a fly shop in Sun Valley myself, I know what a good experience in a shop should feel like. This place hits the nail on the head. Friendly, knowledgeable, and its presence fills the gap between Twin Falls and Sun Valley for quality flies and equipment. Definitely worth stopping by.

Absolutely love Idaho Troutfitters. Dan (the owner) is one of the most genuine and kind individuals I have ever met. I will go in to buy a dozen flies and it will take me an hour and a half because we get caught up in conversation sharing fishing stories. I highly recommend stopping in to shop, or just to say hi! Sportsman’s isn’t going anywhere, shop local!

I was blown away by the great selection found at Idaho Troutfitters. They carry top notch gear and the staff was very friendly. They were able to help me find what I needed and most importantly we got to talk fishing!
